POLICE have renewed an appeal to help them find a missing teenager from the North-East.
Iman Dusabimana, 16, left her home in the Slatyford area of Newcastle on April 4.
She left a note saying she was leaving to be with her mother and they were going to live in Europe.
Iman left no details of where she could be found. She is 5ft, slim, with straight, dark brown shoulder-length hair with ginger highlights.
In January last year, Iman entered the UK from Brundi, Africa, with her mother, Shemsa Nduwimana, and they initially lived in Gateshead.
Iman is fluent in English.
In September last year, Shemsa went missing and has not been seen since.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Iman or her mother is asked to contact Etal Lane police station, on 0191-2146555, ext 62926.
