A Teesside town was given a certain 'Je ne sais quoi' over the weekend, with the arrival of a French market.
Shoppers in Stockton could sample everything from baguettes to brie at the market, which consisted of about 20 stalls, with traders from Normandy, and ran all day Friday and Saturday.
The market, just off Stockton High Street, in Dovecot Street and Wellington Square, also included stalls selling crafts and hot snacks, such as sweet and savoury pancakes.
The market traders had travelled to Teesside from the Normandy area of France.
