A POLICE investigation is under way after more than 100 company workers were sent Internet pornography.
The images were e-mailed to the Nestl Rowntree factory, in York, leading to a complaint to the company's management.
It is believed some of the e-mails may have contained child pornography.
Two workers at the factory have been sacked and another has been suspended over the incident.
One of the sacked workers has been arrested by police officers.
A worker from Cargill Incorporated, which runs the company's former cocoa processing operations at the factory, in Wigginton Road, was also suspended.
Police said they received a complaint on May 4.
A spokesman said: "A man was arrested and bailed in connection with an allegation involving indecent images." The man is due to return to Fulford Road police station, in York, at the end of next month.
A Nestl spokeswoman said: "We are currently investigating a breach of our IT and Internet usage policy."
