Darlington Building Society NYSD Premier League Division One: Marton top the table boasting the only unbeaten record after securing an easy win over Barnard Castle.
And although the runs flowed throughout the innings, it was Chris Lane who was dominant as Marton, keen to gain promotion into the Premier Division, racked up the huge score of 280 before declaring for the loss of four wickets in only 45 overs.
Opener Lane struck a six and 18 boundaries in 105 forming a first-wicket stand with Graham Shaw (45).
Matt Benfield, with an unbeaten 51 and Chris Simpson (32 not out) maintained the momemtum with an undefeated partnership for the fifth wicket.
Runs were a lot more difficult to achieve when Barnard Castle replied. Although West contributed 40 with seven boundaries, the visitors were all out for 126 as Mark Ditchburn and Shaw shared six wickets.
Stokesley are second after winning by eight wickets at Thornaby. Umer Rashid (80) was the mainstay of the visitors' innings which produced a healthy total of 204-9.
Ian West captured four for 43 runs before David Weighell took the man-of-the-match honours, carrying his bat for 95.
Neil Parkin gave admirable support with an unbeaten 59.
There was an exciting conclusion to the game between Seaton Carew and Yarm, with only five runs and one wicket separated the pair.
Replying to a target of 183, Yarm were 177-9 with opener Rhys Barker having raised their hopes with a six and 11 boundaries in making 66.
Keith Gibbon (5-93) and Kevin Rowntree (3-74) bowled throughout for Seaton, sharing the 52 overs.
Richie Clayton opened with 42 and Steve Hirst stroked seven fours in 50 before Seaton were all out in 47.3 overs for 182.
Phil Andrews sent down 16 overs, returning 5-65 and Will Wyatt gave support, his 17.3 overs yielding 3-55.
Blackhall, aiming for a quick return to the top flight, were held to a draw at Guisborough.
Tony Booth had a six and eight fours scoring 55 and Lamb ended unbeaten on 40 in the useful total of 208-9. Steve Trillo bowled a good end for the home side claiming five of the wickets for 61 runs in 14 overs.
Guisborough never threatened in their reply and at stumps were 115 for six. Ryan Murray held up the Colliers with a useful 33.
Colin Biglin struck an undefeated 108 and Danny Morgans 89 as the pair led Darlington to an impressive 224-4 against Darlington RA at Feethams.
Phil Marr picked up three of the four wickets to go down at a cost of 64 runs. In reply, RA ended on 132-2 which included 65 not out by Nigel Whaley and 36 from his opening partner Stuart Bell.
James Clarkson (47), Andrew Smith with 68 and Brad Elsworth (61) propelled Bedale to 211-6 at home to Redcar who weren 121-2.
