British Superbike champion John Reynolds will take part in the official test for next month's round at Croft tomorrow, writes Matt Westcott.
The Rizla Suzuki rider has taken a two-event break to recover from the broken right leg that plagued his early season.
Reynolds last rode a bike in anger at Mallory Park on April 24 but will be testing his race set-up for the Championship's next round at Croft on June 5.
"Words cannot describe how much I want to race my Rizla Suzuki at Croft," said Reynolds. "Of course I am looking forward to the test, but it is the racing that I cannot wait for.
"My leg is healing quickly, I am training hard and the doctor has said I am fine to race again. It's time to put the record straight for Rizla Suzuki and get the results that the team deserves."
Fellow Rizla Suzuki racer Scott Smart will also test at Croft, his home circuit. He will be trying different clutch settings to improve his race starts.
Plans for the team to test with substitute rider James Haydon were put on hold as it became clear Reynolds was on track to return.
