YORK-based commercial law firm Denison Till has made a series of appointments.
ANN LAVERTY joins the commercial property department from solicitors Philip Ashworth & Co in York, where she was head of commercial property and a partner for more than two years.
JOSH WONG joins the dispute resolution department as a solicitor from Herbert Smith in London, the top litigation practice in the UK, where he acted for insurer Equitable Life in its High Court action against former auditors Ernst & Young, and 15 former directors over the near financial collapse of the society.
SUE HADFIELD, a dual-qualified civil engineer and construction lawyer, joins as a solicitor after a career break in which she has raised a family.
GREG PRESTON joins the commercial property department as a solicitor. He was previously in the occupiers and investors team at the Leeds office of national law firm Eversheds.
