A MUSEUM'S curator is appealing for volunteers to help transform its overgrown caf garden.
Tools, gloves and refreshments are available in return for helping hands at Kirkleatham Museum, in Redcar, on Saturday, between 10am and 4pm.
Curator Alan Pearce said: "We need as much help as we can get to restore the area to its former glory.
"In the short term, we want to be weeding, cutting hedges and pruning trees. Then we've got plans to create several different gardens in the space."
