FAMILY and friends of a teenager who died in a boating tragedy will hold a charity auction this weekend.
Luke Noble, a 15-year-old from East Boldon, South Tyneside, and his US friend Dennis Campbell-Harty died in August when they were hit by a speedboat off the British Virgin Islands.
On Sunday evening, an auction will be held at Newcastle's Copthorne Hotel for the Noble Harty Foundation, set up by Luke's parents to help children in the region experience outdoor adventure activities.
More than 150 people are expected to attend the ticket-only event, and organisers hope to raise at least £5,000.
