AMPHETAMINES with a street value of £12,000 have been seized in drug raids.
Ten people were arrested yesterday in raids in Middlesbrough, and a suspected dealer walked into a police station and gave himself up.
The operations bring the total arrests in three days of raids, mainly at Grove Hill, Middlesbrough, to 33, with 24 houses searched.
They include 16 suspects caught in the raids and 17 additional arrests. Three of the six houses raided yesterday were next to each other in Ashfield Avenue.
Staff from housing organisation Erimus sealed up a house in Marton Grove Road, which had been raided earlier this week.
A police spokesman said: "There will be no let-up on our part to drive out the evil of drugs. Months of planning and work have have gone into this operation and it has paid off. There is no room in our communities for those who deal in this misery.''
He appealed for people to report drug dealers on (01642) 326326.
