Saltburn'S Cliff Lift has had its ups and downs but, following a £750,000 revamp, will be back in operation on Saturday and during the school half-term holiday week.
It will be open from 10am to 7pm until Sunday, June 5, allowing access to the lower promenade at the east Cleveland resort.
The lift has only operated on weekends and Bank Holidays since the middle of April, during a revamp of Saltburn's promenade area.
The work involved adding feature lighting, improving access to the lift, developing mosaic features and rock gardens.
Parking space and access to chalets on the lower prom will still be limited during the half-term week, although the nearby Cat Nab Car Park is open.
