TWO men will be sentenced next month for their part in a late-night disturbance outside town centre bars.
Simon Skelton, 24, and Wayne Keers, 28, have been warned they face jail after pleading guilty to a charge of affray in Hartlepool.
Their case, heard at Teesside Crown Court yesterday, was adjourned for three weeks so probation workers can compile a report on Skelton.
Recorder Tim Hirst told the pair: "This is obviously a serious matter and a custodial sentence is a distinct possibility."
Skelton, of Motherwell Road, and Keers, of Helmsley Street, both Hartlepool, were granted bail until their next appearance.
The men were involved in a fracas at the junction of Victoria Road and Avenue Road shortly after midnight one Sunday last July.
