A FREE event to provide networking opportunities for businesses across County Durham will be held next month.
The Inter-Trading event, at Hardwick Hall Hotel, in Sedgefield, on Wednesday, June 22, will give firms a chance to meet, promote their services and products and establish links.
The event has grown since it was established by Sedgefield Borough Business Forum in 2001, when it was called the Flip Chart Roadshow and was held in Newton Aycliffe Business Centre, on the town's industrial estate.
Ian Smith, chairman of Sedgefield Borough Business Forum, said: "This event is an excellent opportunity to support businesses in the borough and allow each business to promote themselves and frequent trading within the borough."
Organisers hope to attract more businesses this year to allow enhanced showcasing opportunities and will welcome visitors from businesses who are not exhibiting.
A seminar, on Wednesday June 8, 6pm, at Redworth Hall, near Newton Aycliffe, will give businesses attending tips on from displays and body language to networking and sales skills.
To book a place on the seminar or for more details, call Sylvia Bruce or Anthea Taylor on (01325) 307270.
