THREE library workers have completed a coast-to-coast cycle ride to help a charity buy computers.
Michael Wilkinson, Jonathan Goldberg and Chris Holmes raised £600 through their trek from St Bees, in Cumbria, to Robin Hood Bay, in North Yorkshire.
The money will help Tees Valley Cruse Bereavement Care to buy computers.
The three friends, who work at Darlington Library, in Crown Street, wanted a holiday with a difference, and knew that the charity was in need of new equipment.
A spokeswoman for Darlington Borough Council said: "We are all very proud of them and we know the volunteers at Cruse are looking forward to using their new computers."
