GRANTS available from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) are helping a growing number of people from the North-East benefit from tourism.
Defra's Rural Enterprise Scheme grants are delivered across the region through the Rural Development Service North East.
Grants have been awarded for a variety of projects across the region from farm shops with trails and visitor attractions, to a Second World War themed attraction and accommodation.
