A FESTIVAL organised by environmental campaigners will take on Saturday.
Attractions at the Thornborough Free Festival in Masham include live music, street entertainers and talks by community leaders and archaeologists.
The event is being staged by campaigners fighting plans by Tarmac Northern to extend nearby Nosterfield Quarry. Protesters say the extension will damage ancient stone henges, a claim that is denied by the quarry firm.
Activities will be held in seven venues across the town from noon until midnight.
