The North East Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) has launched a training department. The BIC training division is headed by newly-appointed manager PAUL CAIRNS.
The 34-year-old will provide a range of programmes to help improve businesses region-wide.
Mr Cairns, who lives in Sunderland with his wife and son, was appointed to the role after working as a business advisor at the BIC for 14 years.
During that time, he was involved in developing business-related seminars and also spent some time working in Slovenia teaching trainers about practical skills.
To help Mr Cairns, the BIC has also appointed 19-year-old RYAN MASON as a training co-ordinator. He was previously a training adminstrator at car dealership Reg Vardy.
