Construction company the Esh Group has appointed two directors to Lumsden & Carroll, the commercial build and civil engineering arm of the group.
STEPHEN WILKIE, 34, and STEVE CONN, 39, have both been promoted from within the organisation to become construction directors.
Mr Wilkie joined the company as a trainee engineer after leaving school in 1989 and has progressed through the business from operations to contract management as quantity surveyor, commercial manager and construction manager, qualifying with a BSc in construction management from Leeds University in 1999.
Mr Conn joined Lumsden & Carroll in 1999 from Kvaerner Construction where he was a site agent.
At Lumsden & Carroll, he has progressed through a number of project management roles and has annual responsibility for contracts totalling about £15m. Mr Conn was also responsible for project managing the construction of the Esh Group's £3m headquarters at Bowburn. He graduated from Bradford University in 1988 with a B Eng Civil and Structural Engineering.
