ENTRIES for tomorrow's second annual vintage sale at Hawes mart are 25pc up on last year.
Lots include 28 vintage tractors, vintage farm implements, tractor accessories, horse drawn machinery and even a tradesman's bicycle and a baby's bath.
A rare FE35, grey and gold, Ferguson tractor is entered.
Maurice Hall, auctioneer with the mart, said: "It was a limited edition tractor and already we have received a huge amount of interest."
The sale is a joint venture between George F White and the mart and begins at 11am.
Mr Hall said vintage machinery and other pre-1950s items are in vogue and believed there was something for everyone, including the baby's bath, railway trolley and trunk, Surrey carriage, jam pan and stone troughs.
"While some purchasers are interested only in the machinery, there is a huge following looking for the more unusual collectors' items such as dairy equipment, kitchenalia, gardenalia and of course anything to do with horses, such as harnesses, horse wagons and carriages," he said.
Last year's sale was one of the largest vintage auctions in the North-East and almost brought Hawes to a standstill.
