THE Yorkshire Dales will be alive with the sound of music this month.
The Harp Singers, from Wensleydale, will hold concerts at Aysgarth and Richmond.
The singers, who appear in Victorian dress, will perform at Aysgarth Methodist Church at 7.45pm on June 18. Admission is £4 at the door.
The programme, which includes British songs, madrigals, spirituals, amusing items and popular songs from the 1930s and 1940s, will also be presented at 7.30pm on June 25 at St Mary's Church, Richmond. Admission is £6 at the door.
Musical director Roger Ohr said: "We have chosen music that is familiar, popular and easy to listen to."
Concert proceeds will go to church funds.
