Foster's Northumberland Tyneside Senior League: Durham County's Liam Killeen will make his debut for Burnopfield in this afternoon's game against Shotley Bridge at the Spa.
The club has moved quickly to replace Amit Deshpande, who unexpectedly returned to India after playing just one game.
"Deshpande arrived two weeks late played once and said he needed to go back home because his father was ill," said Burnopfield spokesman Gary Charlton.
"He promised he would quickly return but he hasn't done so, so we have turned to Killeen and we are very fortunate to have obtained his signature."
Killeen will play when he is not required for Durham County or Foster's EBP North East Regional Premier League side Newcastle, who have first call on his services.
Burnopfield, who gained promotion last season are also boosted by the inclusion of Richard Beacon and Neil Renner.
Leaders Swalwell visit champions Tynedale defending a three point advantage over Leadgate. Anthony Brown is unavailable so Swalwell line up Ian Stoneman, while Tynedale miss the injured Henry Twizell with a calf injury and 14-year-old Thomas Cant is drafted into the line up.
With Ian Pattison and Lee Shaw still ruled out, Sacriston are unchanged for their home clash with second top Leadgate, who have fine wins and a draw from six outings.

Newcastle City, following an indifferent start have come good and remain unchanged.
Annfield Plain visit Lanchester with Lee Harrison replacing Graeme Carr. Ponteland are at bottom of the table Benwell and Walbottle name Mac Dorwood for Tommy Barr.
