A WEBSITE has been launched to keep residents of a sheltered housing complex up-to-date on the home's redevelopment.
The demolition of the homes in Sycamore Close, Bainbridge, Wensleydale, began at the end of last year.
By early 2007, the old housing will have vanished and residents of Sycamore Close and nearby High Hall residential home will be living in 40 self-contained flats.
Because fencing surrounds three sides of the new development, many of the residents can see little of their new home.
So, to ensure they are kept informed of progress, www.sycamoreclose.com has been launched by activities officer Angela Kershaw.
"Work is progressing very quickly and all sorts of different heavy equipment turn up on site, so there is always an interesting shot to be taken," said Mrs Kershaw.
