VETERAN servicewomen will gather at a museum on Sunday for the annual Women's Air Services Memorial Day.
Members of Women's Auxiliary Air Forces Associations from across the country will be at the Yorkshire Air Museum in Elvington, near York for the event.
At 2pm, they will assemble around the museum's memorial and garden dedicated to the women who helped to defend the country during the Second World War for a service.
There will then be a flypast by a Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
In the hangar, 1940s music will be played before and after the service and flypast.
The event is part of the museum's ongoing Victory Festival.
All Second World War veteran service-women are invited to attend free of charge.
