A woman was airlifted to hospital yesterday after becoming trapped under a car.
The 54-year-old, from Consett, County Durham, was involved in the accident on Ball Hill Farm, Wolsingham, yesterday afternoon.
The woman was last night being treated in James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, for burns to her legs.
Two fire crews were sent to the farm shortly after 2pm, and they were joined by an air ambulance once she was freed.
Police were also involved but could not confirm the circumstances of the incident.
"There's no real details to explain what happened," said a Durham Constabulary spokesman.
A firefighter who helped free the woman said: "She has burns to her legs and possible broken bones but her injuries are not life-threatening.
