VISITORS to an original arts festival will be led a merry dance around the grounds of a museum.
Five performers from Tees Valley Dance will take audiences on a half-hour tour of the gardens at Kirkleatham Museum, Redcar, east Cleveland, on Sunday.
The work, commissioned by Redcar and Cleveland Council's Arts Development section, is entitled Garden Party with Physical Exercise.
The event has been choreographed by the dance group's artistic director Kristine Sommerlade, performed to music by composer Adrian Evans.
Visitors can take part in belly dancing, kite making, clog dancing, circus skills, morris dancing and didgeridoo workshops.
There will also be performances and displays from local schoolchildren and colleges, walkabout theatre from Team Players, DJ and mixing, a family sculpture park and the Coyote Youth Theatre.
Dance tours will take place at 11.30am, 1pm, 2.30pm and 4pm.
