FOOTBALL legends and life-long supporters can have their names immortalised en route to their beloved stadium.
The names of Gareth Southgate, Juniniho and Wilf Mannion will be lined up with those of fans from across the globe as part of the Boro Brick Road.
The scheme is to mark the tenth anniversary of Middlesbrough FC's move from Ayresome Park to the Riverside Stadium and fans have until June 23 to sign up.
More than 1,500 bricks have been snapped up, but many more are expected to be sold after the club sent out details to 35,000 supporters during its season ticket mailshot.
A maximum of 3,000 bricks can be laid on the path between the statues of George Hardwick and Wilf Mannion.
Boro's commercial manager Graham Fordy said: "The idea is proving very popular with our fans around the world. It gives them a way of marking their name in the club's history and ensuring they will be part of the future."
Brick prices range from £39.95 for a single brick with black lettering to £89.95 for a double brick with gold lettering.
Order forms are available from the stadium or the club's retail stores.
