A TOTAL of 35 luxury apartments being built on the banks of the River Wear, in Durham City, go on sale from July 2.
Construction work has started on the £6.8m Freeman's Quay, part of the total £30mWalkergate shopping and leisure developmentbeing created by Amec, with work expected to be completed next year.
Although developers are not revealing the exact price of the homes ahead of their launch, they are expected to fetch in the region of £120,000 for a one-bedroom apartment up to £245,000 for a two-bedroom apartment.
Property agent Knight Frank is handling sales of the homes. A sales suite will be opened in Millennium Square.
