A GROUP of young musicians have returned home from a tour of Paris.
The concert band from the Allertonshire School, in Northallerton, gave three concerts during their time in France, two of them in Ormesson sur Marne, Northallerton's twin town.
The first concert was to all of Ormesson's primary schools and the second one was a public concert in the evening.
The events were organised by the school's head of music, Adrian Bramley, and Northallerton's twinning association. A third concert took place at EuroDisney.
As well as playing music, the group of 42 students, six members of staff and three families saw the sights of Paris, including Fontainebleau, Montmartre, the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and a boat trip along the Seine. The band also visited the futuristic museum the Cite de la Musique.
