A GROUP of teachers will come from Russia with love when they visit the region next week.
The seven teachers will travel from County Durham's twin city of Kostroma, and will each attend a school in the area, teaching children about their lifestyle and traditions and sharing best practise with their North-East counterparts.
The visit follows a trip to Kostroma, about 250 miles north of Moscow, earlier in the year by teachers from the county.
The visit will take place from Saturday until June 19.
Elena Tolmacheva will visit Belmont Community Arts College, while St Godric's RCVA Primary School hosts Vera Ivanova. Gainford Primary welcomes Svetlana Sadovnikova and Finchale Primary will be attended by Alexander Malgin.
Olga Vyugina will travel to Barnard Castle C of E Primary and Framwellgate Primary will be visited by Irina Kozhevnikova. St Anne's, in Bishop Auckland, will be visited by Marina Kostochko.
