KIRBY Sigston are still out in front after they won for the seventh time in eight outings last Saturday, defeating Hutton Rudby by four wickets.
The home side posted a useful 173-6, which included 99 by Hereford. He was bowled needing just one run for his century and Cook contributed 34.
Clarkson was the most successful bowler in the visiting attack, taking 3-60.
Kirby Sigston were then indebted to a second-wicket partnership between Thompson (36) and Clarkson (62) before Cowton added a valuable unbeaten 49. Dennis had a good day with the ball for Hutton Rudby, taking 3-46.
East Harlsey are second and they overtook the Swainby total of 115 with six wickets remaining.
Theakston top-scored with 34 for Swainby, while Grainge and Brown both took five wickets for the visitors.
East Harlsey lost an early wicket when Hodgson was run out, but Bellerby saw his side to victory when he finished with 44 not out in a total of 120-4.
Stafford Place were dismissed for only 68 in 25.1 overs by Kildale, for whom Jamie Pierson captured 6-42 in 12.1 overs and Les Sonley 3-26 from the 13 overs he delivered.
Kildale then required just 13.4 overs and conceded only two wickets making the necessary runs as Sonley struck five boundaries in 27, as did Steve Corcoran, who ended unbeaten with 23.
Crathorne had 100 runs in hand over Scruton, who were all out in 40 overs for just 62 as Howard Leng took 7-39 in 13 overs and Arthur Clemmitt 3-12 in 12 overs, six of which were maidens.
Paul Mooney was in splendid form for Crathorne, hitting one six and eight boundaries in 74 as a total of 162 all out was achieved in 40 overs. Peter Hornby took 4-48 in 14 overs and Brian Barritt 3-49 in 12 overs.
Great Broughton made a useful 160-4, but still lost by nine wickets at Maltby.
Opener Scott batted throughout for Great Broughton, making 114 not out, but still finished on the losing side as Hall (85no) and Close (45) laid the foundations for Maltby's victory.
Chop Gate totalled only 95-9 as Hogarth claimed 6-30, but the low total was still sufficient as Skelton Castle were dismissed for 66.
Stockton had the excellent figures of 7-24 and M Vout took 3-13.
Ingleby Greenhow's father and son, Arthur and Michael Fawcett, shared eight wickets to lead their side to a ten-wicket victory over Thimbleby.
The visitors were sent back for just 85 as Arthur took 5-29 and Michael assisted with 3-20.
Another of Arthur's sons, David Fawcett, then carried his bat for 32 and Jones contributed 29 not out to Ingleby Greenhow's match-winning reply of 86 without loss.
