A MAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of a father of three.
Steven Doyle, 37, of Blyth, Northumberland, died in Newcastle General Hospital on Saturday, three weeks after he suffered severe head injuries in an alleged attack at the Quilted Camel pub, on Newcastle's Quayside.
Hassan El-Khuweldi, 46, of Waterloo Street, Newcastle, was remanded in custody for a week until he appears at Newcastle Crown Court.
