PLACES are still available for a series of Japanese art and craft courses being held throughout July.
The courses, lasting between one hour and a day, will take place at the Dales Countryside Museum, in Hawes, between July 3 and 28.
The courses complement an exhibition of silk paintings and vintage kimono dresses by Richmondshire artists Jill Clay and Katie Chaplin, which will be on display at the museum.
Subjects to be covered in the courses include silk painting, batik, Japanese patchwork, mirror compact making, paper cord braiding and silk box making.
Each course features Japanese fabrics, handmade papers and cords which Jill and Katie recently brought back from Japan.
A children's Japanese craft day will be held at the museum on Saturday, July 16
For more information on the exhibition, or to book a place, call Katie on (01677) 450071.
