FOUL-MOUTHED comedian Roy "Chubby" Brown calmed angry travellers with a squeaky clean performance.
The funnyman was among a group of passengers held up for 20 minutes on a bus carrying them from the aircraft to the terminal at Newcastle International Airport.
The Middlesbrough-born comic wasted no time in entertaining his disgruntled travellers with an impromptu series of gags.
Judith Osborne, 40, from Bedlington, Northumberland, was on the flight from the Isle of Man.
She said: "Within moments of being informed of the delay, Chubby was up at the front of the bus.
"He was really funny and appeared to be a lovely bloke. He told jokes for the whole time and everyone loved it.
"The first thing he said was, 'Let us introduce ourselves. My name is Brad Pitt'. He then pointed to a man next to him and said, 'This is my brother Cess'. He was hilarious."
Chubby has kept audiences amused throughout a colourful stand-up career with his famously blue routine.
But Mrs Osborne added: "I've seen all of his videos and wasn't sure what to expect when he stepped up, but he didn't swear once."
The Eastern Airways flight had arrived from the Isle of Man where the TT motorcycle races had been taking place.
