A SCHOOL came top of the class after receiving an Ofsted report.
Willington School was praised by education inspectors, who singled out the excellent behaviour of its pupils, the quality of teaching and information technology.
Inspectors said that the school "provides an outstanding education for its pupils".
The report added: "Pupil's attitudes and behaviour are excellent. Their personal development, including spiritual, moral, social and cultural development, is outstanding.
"No visitor can fail to note immediately the ordered calm and purposeful learning environment at the school. The excellent behaviour and attitudes of pupils combine to create an atmosphere focused upon learning."
Headteacher Bill Guymer was also praised in the report. He said: "It was stunning. It's by far the best report we've had by many a mile. The improvement since the last one is huge."
