PEOPLE interested in the paranormal have a great opportunity to help in the hunt for a famous North-East ghost this weekend.
The television crew for UK Haunted will be at Preston Hall, in Eaglescliffe,Teesside, in search of the infamous Grey Lady, who is said to haunt the hall and museum after killing herself centuries ago.
Former Middlesbrough man Curtis Rivers will be working on the paranormal investigation programme and is inviting up to 30 people from the region to join the crew.
Spaces are limited, but anyone interested in taking part in the ghost search can call and book a place beforehand.
Mr Rivers said: "Visitors and staff alike continue to report sightings of a ghost, nicknamed the Grey Lady.
"Legend says she was the girlfriend of one of the Ropner family's sons, who was not socially acceptable to the family.
"Her broken heart led her to hang herself in the park and her ghost has been seen by a multitude of people ever since."
The event starts at 10.30am on Saturday. Anyone interested in taking part can call UK Haunted for a pass, on (07951) 418685.
