A STUNT rider is making a business out of his hobby thanks to The Prince's Trust.
Mountain biker Ian Drummond, from Houghton-le-Spring, near Sunderland, has set up Tawt.
As well as offering his skills to help promote events, the agency can call on 44 sub-contracted stunt riders.
Mr Drummond became self-employed after doing promotional work for Diamond Back Bikes. He has also worked with Pepsi in Saudi Arabia.
Sunderland Small Business Service put him in touch with The Prince's Trust, which gave him a £500 grant and a £2,000 loan to help with start-up costs.
Mr Drummond said: "The shows showcase what trials bikes can do when pushed right to the limit."
The 24-year-old is performing at the Glastonbury festival this year and was performing stunts at Durham County Council's cycle path promotion event in Broompark Picnic Area, on Sunday.
