TWO men have been injured in separate stabbing incidents in the same city in the space of three hours.
At about 11.20pm on Saturday, an 18-year-old from the Farringdon area of Sunderland was discovered in Anglesey Road with knife injuries to his leg and chest.
Two men, aged 32 and 22, have been arrested and are helping police with their inquiries.
Three hours later, at about 1.25am on Sunday, a 21-year-old man was found in Burdon Road with face and chest injuries which may have been caused by a knife.
He was taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital, where he was last night in a serious but stable condition.
Two men, aged 26 and 18, have been arrested in connection with the second incident.
