TWO gardens will be open to the public this weekend to raise money for St Cuthbert's Hospice.
On Saturday, Mr and Mrs Joe Wright will show off the cottage garden of their home at 11 Oakham Drive, in Carrville, Durham City.
From 2pm to 5pm, people will be able to wander among the shrubs, fruit trees and vegetable plot. Admission is by donation to the hospice appeal.
Refreshments will be available and there is disabled access. Dogs are not allowed.

On Sunday, the town garden at 26 Allergate, Durham City, will be open to visitors.
The small, informal town garden tended by Mrs Jefferson is packed with plants in a cottage garden-style.
Again, admission is by donation to the hospice. The garden is open from 2pm to 5pm. Tea or coffee and biscuits are available, but there is no disabled access. Dogs are not allowed.
