PUPILS were given a taste of what to expect when one of the region's top festivals starts later this year.
Performers taking part in the Stockton Riverside Festival, in August, gave a sneak preview of their show at the Arc, in Stockton, yesterday.
In front of an audience of students from local schools, the performers from the North-East and South Africa took to the stage for the dress rehearsal.
The show, entitled Elephant, includes story, music, dance, puppetry, song and comedy. It is the latest production from the Dodgy Clutch Theatre Company and features 15 performers, seven from the UK and eight from South Africa.
The Stockton Riverside Festival is one of Europe's biggest street art festivals and will take place from August 3 until 7.
