A MAN will appear in court this morning charged with the murder of North-East teenager Scott Pritchard.

He is accused of killing the 19-year-old, who was found outside his Lindsay Close home, in Hendon, with head injuries on at 7pm on January 7 last year.
Mr Pritchard was pronounced dead on arrival at Sunderland Royal Infirmary, where a postmortem examination concluded his injuries had been caused by a blunt instrument.
He was single and lived with his mother, younger brother and sister.
Mr Pritchard was well-known in Hendon and had a wide circle of friends.
