YOUNG people learned about the regeneration of the Tees Valley at a workshop this week.
Students from three Teesside schools took part in the event, part of National Architecture Week.
The pupils, all aged 14, from Redcar Community College and Bydales and Brierton schools attended the three-day event, staged at Stockton Riverside College.
They were given an insight into major regeneration schemes under way on the River Tees, including at Middlehaven in Middlesbrough and the North Shore development in Stockton.
The workshops were run by Common Purpose, in association with Northern Architecture, and gave students the opportunity to generate ideas about how they would improve the areas in which they live.
