Esh Winning are still on course for a League and Cup double after reaching the semi-finals of the League's knockout competition with victory over Kimblesworth on Wednesday night.
Today, they turn their attentions on Ushaw Moor who are also in with a chance of ending at the top.
"We are unbeaten after 11 matches but under no illusions about this game. Ushaw Moor are one of the sides who could go all the way," claimed Esh secretary Joe Lawlor, who reports that Eddie Watson is unavailable and Kevin Davison will deputise.
The home side, having won six of their 11 games, also show one alteration with Gary Whitfield taking over from Peter Maddison.
Second-top Willington are strengthened for their game at Etherley where skipper Stephen Donnolly and Robert Chismon return.
Etherley are unchanged, again missing Danny Hinge who has a broken thumb.
Tudhoe are confident that Anthony Timmens will make the line-up after missing last weekend. They aim to enhance their title prospects at Kimblesworth who cannot call upon David Sanger or Brian Potts.
Andrew Cole is unable to play in Crook Town's fixture at Mainsforth while Shildon, who have shown improvement this season and won three times, are forced into five changes for their visit to Evenwood.
University students Phil Frenay, Geoff Hardman and Chris Potter have returned home and captain Gary Davis and Drew Kirtley cannot play.
Shane Rowley, Daniel Henderson, Chris Tweddle and Michael Roberts step up from the Second XI.
Hylton are delighted with the reception they have been afforded since moving from the Durham Coast League.
"When our application to the Foster's Durham Senior League was rejected, along with Willington's, the Coast League refused to accept our bid to stay but fortunately the County League took us in,'' said stalwart Owen Williamson who is in the side to meet Langley Park at the Billy Hardy complex this afternoon.
"It has been a great move for us.
"We have had a tremendous welcome and we are enjoying the 45 overs an innings game rather than time cricket,"
Brandon, who have a free day, celebrated this week when Jim Allenby made his debut for Leicestershire against Nottinghamshire at Grace Road in the 20/20 fixture.
"Jim has had a number of second-team games so we were very pleased when he was given his first-team chance on Wednesday night," said secretary Ian Johnson who confirmed that the Australian will be available for Brandon' until the end of the season.
