Eppleton entertain Burnmoor with the teams third and fourth respectively.

Eppleton have topped 200 in their last two matches, with Jim Daley in blistering form and the League runs record in danger.

Daley currently has 673 runs with two games to go to the halfway stage. The record is 1,667 by West Indian Philo Wallace in 1996.

Burnmoor have their own run machine in Chris Ellison. The opening batsman currently averages 65 with two big hundreds behind him. Barry Dews is also scoring regularly and so is Eppleton professional Sean Ezzard.

Both teams expect to be unchanged which means Eppleton are still without captain Lee Welsh.

Leaders Whitburn, brought down to earth last Saturday, need to return to winning ways this afternoon. Felling provide the opposition and skipper David Bell will gear his players up to forget their poor performance at Hetton Lyons.

"Our batting was really disappointing with far too many aerial shots," said Bell. "However, there is still a long way to go and we hope to put matters right against Felling."

One injury doubt for Bell surrounds professional Ashley Thorpe, who has a damaged thumb but hopes to be fit.

Paul Cook and Gary Ventress returns for Whitburn, who leave out Peter and Paul Marshall.

Felling may have bowler Chris Pleasants in their ranks. The veteran turned out against Durham City two weeks ago and took a match winning five for 37 and his inclusion today would enhance Felling's chances.

South Shields entertain Hetton Lyons minus both their captain and vice-captain. Michael Fishwick and Neil Dixon are unavailable. Lyons could be top tonight if results go their way.

Lindsay Cullen captains Shields who have Ray McRae returning.

Lyons include former Eppleton and Darlington RA player Martin Ferguson, who will make his debut, but have lost Alan Loscombe, who has joined Philadelphia.

Durham City welcome back skipper Brian Stone when Boldon visit the Racecourse Ground. City are the only side in the league without a win.

Draw specialists Boldon are without Byron Longstaff and promote Alan Lamb.

Marsden beat South Hetton last week and will be hoping to continue this form against Horden, who suffered a late defeat after hitting 211 in their last game.

Horden expect to field the same side.

Seaham Harbour entertain South Hetton and name a side that includes Duncan Loraine.

South Hetton will be minus Colin Brammer and Gary Burlinson. Stephen White and Graham Fenwick come into the South Hetton side.
