CROWDS have been entertained by animal antics in the annual production at a Teesdale school.
Barnard Castle Preparatory School staged When Toad Came Home, a musical adaptation of the popular Wind in the Willows children's books.
The lead role of Toad was played by Finlay Tait. Badger was played by Alice McBain, with other characters played by Ruairi Gillespie, Yasmin Munshi, Andrew Bussey, Emma Peat, James Dickinson, William Spink and Christopher Robinson. Jane Marshman played piano, John Blackham was on percussion, Emma Frampton played woodwind and Mark Mawhinney was on the keyboard.
Headmaster Ted Haslam said: "An enormous amount of effort was put into the production by children, staff and families and the results were spectacular."
