A THREE-NIGHT summer show sellout has given an amateur theatre company one of the most successful productions in its history.
Sedgefield Parish Hall, in the County Durham town, was transformed into Rene's Cafe for the production of Allo Allo, based on the television series.
Audiences were transported back to occupied France of the 1940s, with the Sedgefield Players cast acting out their parts as guests were shown to their tables.
Long serving member of the Players, Geoff Clifford-Brown, performed the part of Rene, with another star of the players, Norma Neal, as Edith.
The show opened on Thursday and closes tonight
