A UNIQUE riding centre for the disabled has been treated to a Changing Rooms-style makeover.
The Unicorn Centre at Hemlington, Middlesbrough, has been donated almost £5,000 towards new equipment and resources, courtesy of the Abbey Charitable Trust.
The learning facility will be enjoyed by students and volunteers at the Riding for the Disabled Association Centre.
Gus Robinson Developments, of Hartlepool, donated materials and labour to perform a complete makeover of the Unicorn Centre's student lecture room.
Unicorn Centre manager, Claire Pitt, said: "The makeover of the lecture room is fantastic.
"It was really shabby, and the new educational materials will be a great help to the students and will help to make learning more fun."
The official opening of the lecture room took place on Saturday, which was also the Centre's annual summer show.
The show was expecting to attract people from all over the North and included activities such as show-jumping, dressage and fancy dress competitions.
