GERTIE, the Vietnamese pot-bellied pig, was treated to a multi-handed scrub as a group of tiny tots wielded sponges.
During a school visit, children from Yarm School Nursery had a farm-life experience when they arrived at Big Sheep and Little Cow in Bedale, North Yorkshire.
The centre is designed to educate children about animals and farms.
As well as cleaning Gertie, youngsters enjoyed playing on toy tractors, feeding the lambs, calves and poultry and getting to know the rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, puppies and even a tarantula.
