FOREST TREKS: Youngsters are invited to free treks through Guisborough Forest as part of the Forestry Commission's Active Woods health campaign. The next is on Sunday, from 1pm to 4pm. Mammal Walk will look at the forest's warm-blooded creatures and there will be wildlife-themed activities.
COUNCIL SURGERIES: Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council will hold ward surgeries on the following dates: June 28, Loftus, Dave Fitzpatrick at Station Hotel, 7pm to 8pm; Wednesday, Longbeck, Norah Cooney at Gleneagles Road Community Centre, New Marske, 6pm to 7pm; Friday, Dormanstown, Vilma Collins, Cliff Houlding and Peter Todd at Park Court Community Centre, 6pm to 7pm, Guisborough, Keith Pudney at Stumps Cross Community Centre, 6pm to 7pm; Zetland, Jean White and Bob Stanway at Laburnum Road library, 6pm to 7pm.
SUMMER EVENT: All Saints Church, Skelton, will host a Summer Spectacular on Saturday, from 11am to 4pm, with organ music by Mike Addison. There will be stalls including face painting. The Bell Tower will be open and refreshments available.
