RECRUITMENT group NRG has expanded its team in the Tees Valley.
The company has taken on three workers to support the commercial and professional services teams at Dunedin House, on Tees Valley Business Park, Stockton, and the industrial team based in Albert Road, Middlesbrough.
Finance recruitment consultant PAUL HOOD, 26, previously worked at stockbroker Redmayne Benfield, in Leeds, where he was head of derivatives to broker relationships between client companies and candidates.
Mr Hood, from Darlington, said: "On the face of it, people think recruitment and stockbroking are very different, but in fact there are many similarities.
"They are both fast-paced, dynamic industries, which are all about meeting the needs of clients."
After five years as an account manager in the automotive industry, JO BAILEY, 28, from Yarm, near Stockton, has joined NRG as industrial recruitment consultant.
JENNIFER ADAMSON, who is 33 and lives in Crook, County Durham, contacted NRG when she was thinking of changing jobs and was recruited as a consultant.
She was previously a manager with a company that supplied communications systems to hospitals.
