A HEALTH care project which brings together services for adults celebrated its first anniversary last week.
The Adult Community Care Partnership, which was officially launched last December by Cherie Blair, held a garden party to mark the birthday.
Sedgefield Primary Care Trust, Durham County Council and Sedgefield Borough Council launched the scheme to co-ordinate services in Sedgefield, the Trimdons, Fishburn and West Cornforth, and to offer elderly people a single contact for service inquiries.
The project has been such a success that four further teams are being established to provide services across Spennymoor, Shildon, Newton Aycliffe and Ferryhill and Chilton.
