ORGANISERS of a prize-winning annual event are brewing up plans for a beer festival and jazz night.
The 13th annual beer festival will be held in Ceddesfeld Hall, Sedgefield, the home of Sedgefield Community Association, on Friday and Saturday.
Among the 18 real ales on offer from brewers across the British Isles will be tipples including Durham Pickled Parson, Wylam Gold Tankard, Mordue Radgie Gadgie and Orkney Raven.
In addition to sampling beer and enjoying a barbecue, visitors will be entertained on Friday night by jazz performers, the Norman Brown Trio, and on Saturday, by the John Wrightson Band.
The festival will be open on Friday from 8pm to 11pm, and on Saturday from 6pm to 11pm, and if ale supplies last, the event will continue on Sunday from noon to 3pm.
